Deluxe Book Plan package for Amy McNulty
This was a fun project to work on!
The request was a sunny, colorful Regency Romance look in the background with a portal in the middle with the dark, fanatsy-like academy inside.
I was given a lot of freedom with the typography. I decided that since the top half of the design is mostly regency romance styled, I’d stick with regency styled typography, but use some of the colors from the magic portal to balance everything out.
Finding a good balance between the two very different genres was a challenge, but after some experimenting I think I was able to hit on a good look for the book.
